What Members Thought
I liked this a lot better than Truly Devious (obviously from my 4.5 rounded up star rating). I didn't think Stevie took unnecessarily silly actions in this one, nor did I think she missed obvious clues while she was supposed to be working on the old case. While she does go back on a promise she made to Larry, she does then own up to it immediately when she gets the chance. Of course, then when she has the opportunity to come clean to someone else, she doesn't but that just felt very "teen" behav

This is the second book in the Truly Devious series and continues to have excellent writing. I finished the last third in one sitting and while parts of each mystery (there's always been two main mysteries happening) were solved, there is still more to learn. I have pre-ordered the third book and am very much looking forward to January 21st. The characters continue to interesting and likable and I just really want to know what happened in each mystery!!!
