It’s a month after I read Warcross and I’m only now realizing how much this book impacted me and how much I loved it. I don’t know why I haven’t written a full review yet. This will definitely be a favorite of mine for years to come!

While this was a page turner and loosely reminded me of Ready Player One, I did guess who Zero was and what was going to happen pretty early on in the book. Now, is that because I was spoiled for WarCard, possibly. I did enjoy this. I thought Emi and Hideo's characters are fully realized and good but her team could have been more fleshed out. I also thought the ending was an quite interesting conundrum. Which would you choose? I know which I would, but I can see the argument for both. Overall a ...more
