I just finished my reread of Warcross and I'm still giving it 5 stars. I still loved everything about it. I think I loved the twist more this time then the 1st time I read it. I can't wait to pick up book 2 Wildcard

My first EVER book by Marie Lu and I think I need MORE of her books ASAP!!! Why have I put off reading anything by her!!! Her style is so easy to read, she built this world which was so technical yet she made it easy for me to grasp it and I actual loved learning it. She also had a ta

Wow, wow, this book was everything I wanted in a YA sci-fi book. Words can't fully describe how exciting and fun it was to read, and how likeable the characters actually are (a rarity for me in YA novels). This book was super fun. I loved the world and the VR thing. I was thoroughly entertained. Most characters had many dimensions to them and it was fun to learn and experience each one. My only ding is that I totally guessed the ending early into the book.

3.5 stars. Started out promising, but I felt like the characters and their relationships could’ve been more fleshed out. Saw the big reveal coming from a mile away.

This was such an incredible read. I thoroughly enjoyed the well-paced plot, its twists, and Lu's fluid writing style; she does world-building well and the book was very easy to read. I liked the relationship between Emika and Hideo a lot. More so, I appreciated the diversity of characters in this book.
