Wow, no words can express my love for this series. If I had to choose my love for the Aurora Rising series and the Illuminae series...I would have to go with Illuminae hands down. Even though I am obsessed with the Aurora Rising series by Jay Kristoff and Amie Kaufman.

Shelves: own, sci-fi, read-2022
This was a fun time, and a good conclusion overall. It was a lot darker than I thought it would be, which was nice. I just didn’t connect as much with Asha and Rhys than I did with the leads of the previous books.

Still had a blast reading this, though.

I am rating this a 4.5-4.75 stars. The only ding that I am giving it is that I didn't enjoy the two main characters in this book as I did the main characters in the other two. This was a very satisfying ending to a series that I adore. I loved the way Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff were able to weave the story lines together so perfectly. I am also a huge fan of the format of these books. It is so unique and just adds another level of story telling in this series. I listened to all three of the a ...more
