I’m a newbie to Audiobooks, so, admittedly, I don’t have a lot to compare this book to; however, this was an absolutely STUNNING was to experience an amazing and powerful book. I encourage everyone to read it in any form you can get your hands on, but there was something magical about listening to the outstanding narrator. I enjoyed this book. The plot had a lot of depth and felt more "real" than a recent book that I read that covered similar subject matter. The characters were easily likable and I'm glad that the love interest didn't turn out to be a douchebag. This story is highly relevant to what is going on in America today. ...more

This book was amazing. So raw and, sadly, so relevant. The writing flowed beautifully and you felt every emotion right along with Starr. Angie Thomas is a brilliant storyteller and I can’t wait to read the other books she’s written.
