People like us in situations like this become hashtags, but they rarely get justice.I think we all wait for that one time though, that one time when it ends right.

I mean...just wow. This is an amazing, amazing book. Laughed, cried, raged, hoped.
I must confess, that I was somewhat turned off to reading this book by the title. But now having read it and understanding more about where the title comes from and what it means, I think it’s a wonderful title. This is a fantastic book that provides insight into the life of many urban black Americans. It may not be a universal story but it certainly is one that will resonate with many. It is a story of hope for audiences on both sides of this experience.
