I am a bit torn by this book.
The pros: I absolutely love the first half of the book. It is totally enjoyable. I love reading from the pov of an autistic child. It totally reminds of my daughters line of thinking (she has autism as well). The tangents she goes on and her form of logic which to most is completely illogical. I love how it portrays the difficulties of raising a child with autism.

There is something about a book that doesn't appear to be what it is. This is one of those books that " Never judge a book by its cover " definitely holds true. Actually it is more that you shouldn't judge this book for what you are reading because at the end you get this sort of moment where you pause and have to reread, evaluate, and digest all that you read.
