I was go give this book 3 stars the beginning pulled me on leaving off from where part 1 ended. But once in the middle the story dragged and dragged a bit here and there. I much preferred the second half of this book, the first half dragged a little for me. I really enjoyed the magical tournament part of this book, the descriptions of the battles alongside the political elements was quite exciting. I loved this book!!! Ugh the competition, the angsty romance, the magic, the characters. I’ll admit a LOT of the book is super slow. But I was still intrigued through those parts. And while it was slow I didn’t find myself bored. And the whole last part just had me not able to put down the book. So good. Loved it. Ugh. Now I must stop writing this review so I can go read the last one cause I gotta know what happens.
