Now I see what all the hype is about. I loved every moment of this book! I read this in a single sitting. I just could not put it down! This is my second Kasie West book and she certainly has a way of making her readers latch on to the stories. There is a lightness in the books, but they are also full of emotion and so far always contain a moral of sorts.

The main moral in this book is trust. It comes up repeatedly in this book in many different forms. In

Cute and fun, The Fill-In Boyfriend serves well as a filler book (see what I did?), but it has some really nice genuine moments, mainly Gia's realizations that she may not be as great a person as she thinks she is. She goes from being truly awful to fairly likable. Hayden is a decent character; maybe not as swoon-worthy as some but he is a good person at least. Another book by Kasie West that I fell in love with. She is such an easy author to read. I read this in under a day. Good book with likable characters. Loved the fill-in boyfriend in this book the most. I could go on and on about how much I love Kasie West writing and I usually do. I will stop at I can't wait to read the last few of her books I haven't read yet and can't wait for future books she writes. ...more

This book read like a really horrible Disney channel movie. Entitled princess popular girl lies about having a fake boyfriend for absolutely no reason, falls in love with said fake boyfriend, and gets caught in the lie ruining her friendships. She just was not like-able, nor was her BFF Claire. To be quite honest, I didn't find any character in the story to be like-able. Only giving 2 stars because I wasn't completely bored with this book. ...more
