Shelves: 2017, sci-fi, audiobook, ya

I didn't love this one quite as much as These Broken Stars, didn't find Flynn and Jubilee quite as compelling. Not to mention that the whispery interludes on the audiobook were hella-creepy when listened to at 1.6x speed.

But I'm looking forward to the finishing up the series and finding out how it all ends. ...more

Maybe it's been too long since I read the first book, maybe my tastes have changed, but I just COULD NOT get into this story.
I tried, really tried to care about the characters and the situation they're in but I just found myself to be terribly bored. There is just nothing too original here.
