What a book! I always find it amazing such a good story can be told via poetry. In this case the prose is perfect for this story. It brings the battle with the monster to another level and seems to make it even more realistic. I have wanted to read this book for ages, glad I finally got around to it. Great read. I will have to check out the sequel too!
4.5* Wow!!! I'm so glad this is a series because I need to know what happens. This was such an engrossing story. I was listening to the audio book and am pretty sure I was walking around with my eyes bulging out the entire time.

A touching story about using love of a family in overcoming drug addiction. This mother deserves a metal for helping her daughter off crack.
