Here's my short review: GO BUY IT!
Now, for the details.
Right off, I felt this deep connection to Sophia, the main character.
Growing up gay, I know what it's like to be isolated and ostracised. You see, Sophia practices Wicca and has the unfortunate chance of living in a small town. She has to continually contend with those looks and comments from the whole town, and from one citizen in particular. Nothing like an ultra-Conservative bigot to help you learn who Sophia really is.

The Forever Girl is a great book that does a great job at showcasing Wicca as the emerging religion that it is. It's easy to see that Wicca is conceived as a cult religion, but the author does a great job to show that is in fact a nature based religion. I also thought that her take on vampires was incredibly unique and the fact that she pulled from each of the five element to explain the being in this series is great.

Forever Girl is a well crafted novel that begins with using subtle things to invite the reader into Sophia's world. The characters are well defined and full of life as the story progresses.
It's a wonderful read that I do and will recommend to all that love paranormal romances.
I score this book a Five out of Five Stars!
