Gee, it's been some time since I read this book. Re-reading my review of it, though, I realized it sucked (the review) (thanks anyway to the two people who liked it), so I'm going to re-write a quick recap of my conflicting feelings towards The Hunger Games.

It was predictable in some parts. But it was written in a way that made me feel like I hadn't known what happened. I love Katniss in every bit of the story, although concerning Gale and Peeta I wish she'd been a bit smarter about how she was so blind.

I decided to read the book before going to see the movie everyone was talking about. I was HUGELY surprised to LOVE this book. It was non stop details and I read it in a day. Then I downloaded the next two in the series...I highly recommend this read.
