A fantastic allegory of life as a sand dune. Very kafka-esque. Very intriguing. Would have liked it to be a bit longer, though. And I'm not particularly fond of the Romanian translation either, which for some reason or other is very archaic. Either way, this book will make you scratch regardless of your cleanliness level. It will make you long for water and fresh air. And it will shed some fresh light on the Stockholm syndrome.

I liked it, however, the hero's tragic destiny its sad and unjust. Its a methaphore that can be depicted from everyones daily lives...
