What Members Thought
I really liked the two eras this book was set in (1950s and 1980s) and I think the author captured both of them perfectly. You get a real sense of Sydney. Annie and Steph had been friends a long time, but it hasn't all been smooth sailing and after Annie dies unexpectedly, Steph has to re-examine their friendship. Coming home to Sydney after living in the US for a long time proves to be the perfect way to do that. Once home she is faced with some old situations that need resolving.
