That feeling when from the first chapter you know you're going to love the next book in a series as much as you did the first book, maybe even more.
As much as I have no interest in sport in real life I'm liking them in my reading more and more. I especially enjoy those sports we don't really have at home like baseball and ice hockey. I think its because they seem that much more exotic and also tap into my love of US culture.

I love Adler. He is awesome and I totally fell in love with his character in this book.
Layton’s horrific past has him putting up all kinds of walls for Adler to try and break down; I really felt bad when I learned what he went through - I don’t know how people can be so horrible to others. It’s really a shame that such a sweet guy like Layton had to go through an experience like that. It definitely left some lasting effects and I can see why he acts and feels the way he does.

My heart hurt for these to boys. We really get to know Adler here and see so much depth from him. The way he is with Layton was beautiful. So many emotions here. You will cry. And don’t even get me started on Adler’s so called parents. Both these boys learn so much from each other. A truly beautiful read and my favorite of the whole series.
