I was told it's a very sad book. I picked it up when I figured it couldn't make things worse, and OMG I was blown away. This book actually gave me strength and filled me with hope. I looked up the ending about halfway through because I wondered if the old man would die in the end. (view spoiler)

Una ricerca disperata e una vittoria che non arriverà.
Lo stile è semplice, la storia ha degli spunti profondi e delle descrizioni ben fatte. Però la storia non mi ha presa... sarà forse perchè io, del mondo dei pescatori, non so proprio niente?
