I usually like traditional children tales, but this one is... well... no.
Obviously I knew the story, but not the details. My summary is: two spoiled kids scare the help into letting they do whatever they want because their parents are inept at parenthood.
Mary is almost ok, she just need some tutoring. But there's no way Colin could go on for 10 years, bossing everyone around him. He is a bully, plain and simple. And I blame all the grown ups around him for his attitude.
