a beautiful book that i'm sure will live on with me for a while,

Sylvia's writing style is truly haunting, I'd recommend this if you want to read about a character that feels real, who's battling life and her own mind. ...more

Primo approccio con le opere di Sylvia Plath e sono rimasta conquistata dalla scrittura così intensa, diretta, controversa di una donna che ha trasposto la propria vita in un romanzo nel quale si scandaglia in maniera onesta e drammatica il tema della depressione, del disturbo psichiatrico e del suicidio.
La protagonista del romanzo è al principio una ragazza mondana, allegra, ambiziosa.
