Un libro d'altri tempi che si fa leggere ancora con piacevole semplicità. Il rapporto tra Lenny e George, costruito con una base di affetto e protezione, rende le atmosfere d'altri tempi ancora più pregne di nostalgia e riflettono perfettamente l'America della Grande Depressione, il sogno di un futuro migliore da inseguire.
