I enjoyed this a lot even though I found it a bit creepy. I read a few dystopian novels but this has for sure one of the worst scenario of future society. People are literally considered as objects, robots. They are made, I dare say built. No natural reproduction! Manipulated since the day of their birth, drug addicts with no choice, actually without even knowing it. They're not able to think with their mind, to take initiative. Nobody has a family, they're forced to feel happy, they don't grow ...more

Non credo che ci siano parole per descrivere le sensazioni che questo libro mi ha suscitato: inquietudine, ansia, frenesia, tristezza, pietà, disprezzo. Da che la storia seguiva le vicende di Bernardo Marx, il vero protagonista diventa il Selvaggio. John, con la sua moralità diventa una specie di guida in questo nuovo mondo creato dal genio di Huxley.

Questa più di tutte mi sembra la citazione perfetta per descrivere lo stato d'animo del Sel ...more
