I commend Ms. Moore for tackling this history. It is a story that should be told. I appreciate understanding the glamour of taking a dial painter job (I would have 100% been seduced by that glamour as a 17 year old). I really do love that she often lumped "the husbands" together, without painting a picture of them, or even giving them names every time. all of this earned an extra star from me, because I think it is important.

Moving story backed up by strong research. This needed some editing in spots where the descriptions verged on the melodramatic. There is something about storytelling, particularly pacing that missed its mark.
