What I have learned from this book:
If your brother/sister shows any signs of extra love, and are slightly older or younger than you, punch him/her and run away.
Yup. Thats the only logical Mortal or lesson I have got from this book.
Talking about the cover, I think, its so simple yet unique and full of meaning.
And talking about the plot, when I first saw this book on goodreads, I didn't mark it as read. But after many readers reviewed and rated this book very high and also recommended everyone ...more

Depending on whereabouts you live , it will depend on which cover you recieve . For me in little ol' New Zealand, we had the black cover , which personally I like as it stands out more than the red. And the barbed wire heart looks more realistic on black than red.

This book is truly wonderful. The author does an amazing way of opening the writer's mind to such taboo subjects in such a sensitive way. The intricate details of the character's thought patterns astonished me throughout and I'd highly recommend this book to others. Although, I do think that the ending could be improved slightly and if I'd had wrote it, I'd have made it a slightly happier ending, one with more hope.

I LOVED this book. It was perfect.
At first, I had to get used to Lochan's way of "speaking", but once I got used to that, I just couldn't stop reading.
It was the perfect combination of love, sadness, hope and just life in general. It wasn't overly romantic or extremely sad or anything. It was put together perfectly. Jup. I loved it. ...more

Initial thoughts: WTF??! ARRRGH. Shouldn't have stayed up late finishing this. Not a big fan of this book (not bc of the incest) but it does have a high readability factor I guess. Review to come.

The ending of this book was so unexpected and upsetting. I definitely loved this book. Such a taboo subject but honestly makes you feel do sad for these two people so in love. I recommend this to everyone.
