This book was amazing, but also very sad and realistic. I have to admit it was a tear jerk-er. Especially when you read the description of her waking up in the hospital thinking that it was all just a dream, or at the end when they graduate. It really makes you think about what your actions can cause and how others can react to what you say and do. Also i loved how it flashed back to her memories and showed the news paper reports about the victims.

This was a brilliant book. Not only was it about a school shooting but it was the story of Valerie and her last year at high school after a tragedy. A lot of people would be able to relate to this because she's a loner and out cast. We've all felt that way one time or another.
