I found this book when I was looking for choices to read for the Telling Tales Challenge. I really like reading retold fairy tales, although it is not the genre I would choose for the majority of my reading time. But at times, I just feel like a good fairy tale, and this retelling of the twelve dancing princesses hit the spot during this long wintry January!
It has all the things I would expect:
Beautiful princesses
A powerful and staunch King
Magic-lots!
Heroes
