Sarah Jio is my kind of author.
I sang her praises last year when I read her first novel, Violets of March, and I tip my hat to her again today after finishing The Bungalow.
What I found between the pages of her latest offering are exactly what I was expecting from her:
Great character development
Historical setting, richly described so you feel you are there living it
Lives that intersect
Two story lines--one present, one in the past
