It was hard for me to decide how to rate this book. The beginning was incredibly funny, even if it was a bit silly at times. But towards the middle the humor gave way to romance and I had some trouble to connect with that part of the book at first.
Roman is one of those tortured heroes. I always prefer the unrepentant badboys, but for an emo scientist Roman isn't all bad. Shanna is an interesting heroine. She starts out a bit weak, but she definitely finds her spine during the story.
