I have been a fan of Carolyn Hart for a long time. Death on Demand is one of my favorite mystery series, and I also loved her Henrie O. series. This is the first book in her new Bailey Ruth Raeburn series, about an 'emissary' (they do not like the term 'ghost'!) from the Department of Good Intentions. Bailey Ruth has applied to help humans on earth because, wonderful as Heaven is, she yearns for some adventure. She is taken on probation and handed a set of precepts, or rules, about her behavior
