This is the first of Sue Grafton's 'alphabet' mysteries that I have read. I liked P.I. Kinsey Milhone right away. In this book, she is hired to 'baby-sit' a rich man's daughter who has just gotten out of jail for embezzlement. She brings her home from jail, brings her to her parole officer, and tries to keep her out of trouble. This proves to be more difficult than it seems at first! The FBI and a number of other law enforcement agencies are interested in having Reba become an informant for them
