While I enjoyed this book, and I really appreciate John Grisham novels, there were too many baseball references that were lost on me.
I really enjoyed the adventures of the 7-year-old farm boy Luke Chandler which was inspired by the events of the writer's childhood. The lives of the farm have been intricately explained with the little boys perspective and how he has one day dreamt of playing in the baseball league along with the other incidents of life has been well described in this book.
