What Members Thought
Nothing much happens in this book, except all the little events that happen to a girl coming of age. The vaccination clinic anecdote was possibly my favorite anecdote, but I also remember the teacher who told her that writing about poverty was not beautiful and a waste of time.
I read this as a child... and a copy has always graced my shelf.
