I havent read it yet in its entirety, yet am shocked at how low the ratings are, and how many of the reviews hint at misunderstanding of the material... yes, I havent read it all, but I know enough of it to know that whatever leader or general didnt "obey" the principles there, eventually ended up biting the dust... and not because they tried to act according to "outdated" nonsense, but because they werent able to fully comprehend its meanings

The novel was shorter than I expected. I guess few words can be more powerful, giving the reader ample time to deliberate their meaning and application to modern times.
