It has been a decade or two-and-half ago since I really dug into the fantasy genre and I half expected not to enjoy it as much anymore as I did in my youth. But I was wrong. The writing is -if you are a hardened literature reader- rather sparse, but that shouldn't matter. This genre is about unrolling a story; building a history if you will. One word: awesome. Wow, this review stuff was easier than I thought. But seriously, some people say this is the slowest novel of the five so far. However it's worth getting through just to get to the third one.
