Appealed to the bibliophile in me because of the bookshop setting, the occupation of the protagonist, and the many references to Jane Eyre as well as similarities to Wuthering Heights. I listened to the audio book, and the story kept my attention. The younger reader narrated with a comforting, confident, and engaging voice that suited the story.
