Great story, provides an interesting perspective of a different WWII experience. I highly recommend this for students learning about the holocaust and anyone interested in that time in history.
I really enjoyed this book. It was a heart breaking story and I did not like all the cussing in it but I loved the story line and I loved that it was narrated by death. The story made me miss my grandmother who was from Germany.
I didn't really believe that this book would be one that I would barely want to put down... the beginning read difficult, but when I got into the rhythm of it, I was reading and unstoppable! (well okay, also needed to take care of two young children, but you know what I mean ;) )
