I listened to this book on audio and fell in love with the young characters who thinks they are all grown up but are for all that still children.
Given children with impressive powers and weird friends and weirder gifts but still.
The sweet innocence of it all is what made me fall in love with this world so completely.
I do not care what age you are, chances are unless you only read formal literature, then this will appeal to you and as a book to read aloud to, too your child, you cannot go wrong. ...more

I have had my students begging me to read this series for the last eight years and finally felt myself in the mood to start it and my only annoyance is that I didn't do it decades ago. The entire experience was a treat and I'm overjoyed that I chose to do the audiobook version. It felt so immersive and made many tedious drives enjoyable! The story was extremely well done and I enjoyed every part of it. I look forward to returning to Camp Half Blood soon.
