I was enraptured by this book. I know everyone does not have the same response. The universe she creates is an extreme version of what might happen if our societies values about women were taken to their extreme. What I found most interesting was that, even though it was a very extreme world she writes, I was still resonating with how women are valued in the book and where they stem from. I really enjoyed reading this book. The pacing of the novel was perfect. It moved at the exact pace I wanted and the non-linear storytelling worked perfectly. The characters were dynamic and compelling and I just wanted to keep going.
