Meg reminded me of all the reasons why I hate children. Her younger brother, I initially liked, even though I had no idea 5 year olds could be that intelligent...or coherent. But he quickly lost his charm. The story was okay, the description of the horse-like creature was just terrifying, not beautiful or magical; especially with the damn drawing on the cover. Reread as an audiobook. I found the narrators voice sleep provoking.
