Disappointing. I struggled with this one. For the first half the book I wanted to DNF it actually. I didn't because I already own the next several books of the series and had heard such good things about the books. Well this did not live up to the hype for me.

A fun YA novel of supernatural romance. Drawing many comparisons to "Twilight", I can't deny a certain number of similarities: werewolves, teen love, star-crossed lovers, and absent parents. But that is the extent of similarity. Better writing, strong female characters and protagonists I care about made this a more satisfying use of my time.

I liked the book. But it lacked depth. Felt like water down version of what the book could have been. Still I am looking forward to reading the 2nd part of the book.
I'm not much of a YA reader. I listen to all kinds of book. I mainly go on overdrive and pick whatever is available. I liked this audio and graciously gave it 3*. It was just too juvenile but who else would think a werewolf is a love interest.

Not what I expected when I began to read. It dragged a little in parts but towards the end it kept me going. Finally finished and enjoyed it made me want to finish the trilogy.
Ahhh....Vicky Bates needs to read this book so I can talk about it! Loved it....Cute, sweet, wolfy! Just adored it! :D
