What Members Thought
I first read this book back in 2015 when I was in grad school, hoping for some much needed comfort during some very stressful times. Recently, my younger sister has become a bit of a fiend for the Lord of the Rings movies and the Hobbit movies (which I liked, sue me). These things combined have put me in the mood to revisit The Hobbit and I have to say that it offered me the same comfort it did back in 2015.

Re-read 2017
I have been a fan of J.R.R. Tolkien's work since I was 4 years old and my older brother took me to see the animated movie. I first read the novel when I was 7 and prior to that I had a read along record for children. I can't tell you how many times I've read or listened to this book since then, or how many copies I've owned. It's always nice to go back and re-read a favorite. ...more
