Beloved is not an easy read. The impacts of slavery and how black people were treated made me sad, confused and haunted. I am glad I took the reading journey and the back half of the book the story for me was a lot easier to follow.

Beloved Is mostly horror story about loss, loss and love lost and what slavery costs generations of people and mostly took away which to me and as hope and dignity that reverberates today.
