[close] I've seen this book around & been wanting to read it for a very long time. The idea of a book based around the building of a cathedral really intrigues me, having two main cathedrals that I've always loved to walk around and admire (in a purely architectural admiration).

Hi there! How are you doing? I am glad that I can update my blog again!!

Today I want to write about how to keep our motivation. I think everybody has experienced to set up some goals. When you do this, I am sure you have lots of motivation. Dear Mr Follet
I´ve just finished your slightly oversized novel. I can´t really say I didn´t enjoy it, it was quite entertaining. However there are some things that a writer should consider or find out before starting the work about medieval Europe.
- Spain was called Spain only in 15th century! If your character asks where Santiago the Compostella is, the answer certainly won´t be Spain!
- A married woman says to everyone in her village that the newborn baby is not her husband´s, then lives a norm ...more

It came highly recommended and the only reason I finished is that I rarely abandon books that I have started. It was barely ok. Story is ridiculously made up, characters are flat, and bad writing style drags on and on. I was glad I have finished it and doubt I will be picking up a sequel.
