Dramatic yet enjoyable. I wasn't dissapointed after reading it. But if you go into the novel expecting it to be like the movies that have attempted to describe the story of Quasimodo, you may be surprised/disappointed. The movies don't give it justice.

Overall, Victor Hugo wrote a great novel with great emotion and depicted a true vision of human tendencies and behaviors. ...more
