I wasn't sure at first if I was going to like the book but I read it anyway because of the so many good reviews and all the positive feedback I heard about it.
And damn. It was unexpectedly good and I loved every bit of it!

Some great world building in this book, I would find myself trying to map out the seven kingdoms in my head. I’m horrible with directions and I think it’s possible that I might even be able to find my way from Randa’s realm to Ror’s kingdom. Took me a bit to get into, found my mind wandering and I had to rewind and go back to re-listen to the same portion a couple of times, but I stuck with it and ended up enjoying it. It is a bit slower paced. I will be continuing on with the series.
