I almost want to say that this was my favorite of the three in the series. However, the first book comes in a close tie because... that's where it all begins: the torture, pain, misery, and hope. My reasons for reading the second book were to get a better background for the plot and the characters and Katniss & Finnick (the only two that really struck me).
The plot has more depth here. It's not the typical "send them to the slaughter pit". No, they were able to develop a version of the "games" i ...more

This book really is amazing. Catching fire was the first book I read among the three and I didn't find it interesting enough as I hoped but this book really is likable. And I don't know why but I like the character Plutarch. And Finnick... I cried when he died. And the part when Peeta says 'you love me. Real or not real?' and Katniss said 'Real'. Yikes. I read the page again and again. Loved it!

The Final Hunger Games begins!
Best points:
: A non-stop action paced enchantment from start to finish!
: An ending that made sense!
: Not everyone survives, realistic and honest
: Katniss does nothing to make me not regret her being my favourite charector
from nearl all my read-books. She is honest and real, never tries to be something
she is not and refuses to be used like before, a pawn in the Hunger Games.
Worst Points:
It was the last book.

I LOVED Mockingjay! I didnt like Catching Fire (#2 of the Hunger Games) but I loved The Hunger Games and Mockingjay. I really loved the ending. I think it was confusing though.... Mockingjay was definently the saddest book of the Hunger Games series. And it will be kind of hard to understand Mockingjay if you haven't read Catching Fire.
