What Members Thought
Epic in scope with brilliant world-building, especially reading it 30+ years after it was published. It goes into great depth and detail for each POV character, with each of their stories effectively being a different genre and tone. The Shrike and the twisting of time were fascinating enough even before you get to the rest of the characters’ narratives.
Biggest downside is that the book ends abruptly, and leads immediately into the next book in the series… which I’m not ready to commit the time ...more
