I'm so glad someone recommended these books to me. The characters in Assassin's Quest mature realistically as their circumstances shape them. It moved me. It made me laugh. There is the solid sense that the world was spinning long before the story began and will continue long after you move on to your next book. It give me a really good feeling about reading more of Robin's stuff.

Wonderfully written with a plethora of details and a strong focus on relationships.....unfortunately it is more about the journey and is hence somewhat lacking in terms of the scoop finale/grand conclusion.
Still its more about the characters and their relationships then the actual events. Hobbs creates some wonderfully rich and engaging stuff on that front.
