Ok this series officially has me hooked. I couldn’t wait to start the next one. However I do have qualms with the titling of these books all of them are assassin’s this of assassin’s that but there has yet to be any assassination going on yet. Not that it takes away from the actual story Fitz is coming more into his role in Buckkeep and learning to control his magics, there a plots-a-plenty, and of course the secret love affair. Smartly written. More a tale of downfall and ill begotten change then anything else. It set the third book up beautiful. Hopefully the grand finale in this tale of Fitz and his revenge for the six Duchies does not disappoint.

The second book in the Farseer series is a good follow up to the first. Glad I picked this series up on the recommendations of other Goodreads users. Hobb had made so many's top five fantasy booklist I picked up the first in the series and plan to start the third in a couple of days. The plot is very engaging and it was hard to put the book down, the last 100 pages were filled with tension & sadness.

I finished this a long time ago but havent been logging in. This whole series has easily become one of my favorites. I've read it in its entirety 4 times now and its amazing.
