Mostly entertaining if implausible quick read. Charlie Outlaw (according to the book his real name) is an actor who has banished himself to a remote island after a social media gaffe. He is kidnapped by an inept band of terrorists (the author does not seem to be able to decide whether to play it light and goofy or to put in real fear) who do not realize he is famous in the western world. Meanwhile, Charlie's girlfriend Josie, also an actor who was once in a hit show, is struggling to get jobs, and to get over Charlie after he dissed her (unintentionally) in an interview. It is mostly interesting, often amusing, but neither Charlie nor Josie are all that likable, and I found it hard to really care.
