Perhaps I have over internalized political correctness, but I just could not get into this book about three 60 year old white men who have idealized their college friend (who they all were in love with) Jacy, who disappeared the May after their college graduation. Russo is a great writer, and he does keep you interested as he explores the three men who all avoided Vietnam (one fled to Canada, the other two had high draft numbers) and yet cannot seem to get over their college years and their fixa
